Tenant Fee Guide

(Compliant with The Tenant Fee Act 2019)

Before the tenancy starts (payable to Foresters Lettings Limited “the Agent”)

The amount of the deposit is subject to the following caps:
Holding Deposit: Equivalent of 1 week’s rent
Security Deposit: Equivalent of 5 weeks’ rent

Changes to a tenancy agreement, due to change of Tenant / Occupier £50 + vat (£60 inclusive of VAT)

Loss of keys or other Security Devices: Cost of replacement. If extra costs are incurred there will be a charge of £15 per hour + vat (£18 inclusive of VAT per hour) for the time taken.

Payments associated with early termination of the tenancy, when requested by the Tenant and agreed by the landlord.

Should the tenant wish to leave their contract early, they shall be liable to the landlord’s costs in re-letting the property as well as all rent due under the tenancy until the start date of the replacement tenancy. These costs will be no more than the maximum amount of rent outstanding on the tenancy.
